Tennesseans should see more veggies on their plate

The Tennessean recently published Nourishing the Planet’s opinion-editorial that suggested an increase in fruit and vegetable consumption could aid the state’s high diabetes and obesity rates.

As obesity and diabetes become more prevalent across the United States and the rest of the world, a simple solution– eating more vegetables– can not only help to improve diets, but also benefit farmers across the globe. ­­­­
