Partner Organizations Help Rebuild Fractured Haiti

Today marks the second anniversary of the devastating Port-au-Prince earthquake that affected an estimated three million Haitians.

Check out this article that discusses the work that Groundswell International and its partner Partenariat pour le Développement Local (PDL) are doing to rebuild the nation by supporting smallholder farmers and promoting sustainable agriculture. The organizations have already helped train 2,500 farmers to conserve soil and water, establish six community-run seed banks, and strengthen nine peasant organizations that represent over 150,000 people.
