Each week we run your responses to the question: Where Would You Like to See More Agricultural Funding Directed?
During a meeting with Marceline Ouedraogo, the founder and president of Burkina Faso’s rural women’s association, Songtaab-Yalgré, Wolrdwatch Institute Senior Researcher and Nourishing the Planet co-Project Director Danielle Nierenberg asked where the women would like to see more agricultural funding directed. The women from Songtaab responded with an anecdote that demonstrates why funders need to listen closely to the people working on the ground when deciding what projects deserve more support.
