The project aims to “actively encourage the development of young and innovative ideas” that address “issues which have become urgent, both for individuals and for society as a whole.”

Students from around the world are encouraged to submit an essay on the topic, “Food and Sustainability: How to reduce our impact on the environment, while securing health and access to food for all.”

Students can submit their ideas through September 10th. The 10 best ideas will be presented and assessed at BCFN’s 4th International Forum on Food and Nutrition, November 28 and 29, 2012 in Milan, Italy!
