Research Assistant Yeneneh Girma Terefe is a research assistant at the Worldwatch Institute based in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Worldwatch, Yen worked as a research assistant at the University of Florida and as a marketing intern at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington. While at the University of Florida, Terefe specialized in cultural heritage management and worked on the nomination of Yemrehanna Kristos, a 12th-century church in Ethiopia, as World Monument Fund’s Watch List 2014. He holds a master of arts degree in anthropology from the University of Florida and a bachelor of arts in business administration from Truman State University with a focus on international marketing.
