On June 21-22, Professor Olivier De Schutter, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, convened an international seminar in Brussels on the potential of agroecological approaches to address global food security needs to 2050.
The seminar brought together agroecology experts, national and international decision-makers, and representatives of farmer organizations to agree to policy recommendations that will contribute to the future work of the Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) Committee on World Food Security (CFS).
